CSCI Executive Director of Business Development Elected President of AFCEA Indiana Chapter
Miranda Pannell, CSCI’s Executive Director of Business Development, has been elected president of the Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association (AFCEA) Indiana Chapter for the 2024 calendar year.
Established in 1946 with roots stretching back to the American Civil War, AFCEA is an international association that provides networking and educational opportunities to strengthen global security and prepare tomorrow’s science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) workforce. With 30,000 individual members, 1,600 corporate members, and 138 chapters, AFCEA affiliates include professionals in the military, government, industry, and academic sectors.
The AFCEA Indiana chapter was formed in 2021 to bring information technology, cyber command and control, communications, and electronics forums to the state’s defense, homeland security, and intelligence communities.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve as the AFCEA Indiana Chapter President,” says Ms. Pannell. “Having been a member of AFCEA for many years, I have experienced first-hand the benefits this organization offers to those in our industry. I’m excited to lead the chapter and connect Indiana’s greatest in the defense ecosystem to provide technology insights and best practices in support of our warfighters, federal leaders, and civilians.”
