CSCI Project Manager Named SETA of the Year by DARPA
CSCI Project Manager Rhonda Lane was named a Science Engineering and Technical Assistant (SETA) of the Year by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) at a formal ceremony on December 7, 2023. Ms. Lane was presented the award by DARPA Deputy Director Rob McHenry.
DARPA utilizes approximately 2,000 contractor support personnel, known as SETAs, across the agency’s support and technical offices. One of CSCI’s longest-standing projects, our team at DARPA works within the agency’s Comptroller’s office supporting DARPA’s financial improvement efforts.
Each year, DARPA grants four awards to exceptional contractor and government personnel for going above and beyond in support of the agency. Ms. Lane was nominated for the award by DARPA Comptroller Greg Simpson. Notably, Ms. Lane is the first SETA within the DARPA Comptroller’s office to receive this distinction.
“I am deeply honored to receive this award, and I’m proud to be on such a fantastic team in the Comptroller’s office,” says Ms. Lane. “We have excellent leadership and very cohesive teamwork. I truly could not have received this recognition without such a strong team alongside me.”
In addition to her SETA award, Ms. Lane has also twice been bestowed the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR)’s Patriot Award for her managerial support of a CSCI associate in the Army National Guard.
CSCI commends Ms. Lane on this distinction and thanks her for her outstanding support of both our client and our associates.
