CSCI’s Michele Durante Named 2021 Indiana WBE of the Year

CSCI is proud to announce that the Great Lakes Women’s Business Council (WBC) has named CSCI Founder, President, and CEO Michele Durante as its Indiana Women Business Enterprise (WBE) of the Year for 2021

The Indiana WBE of the Year award recognizes a leader who displays exceptional business conduct and skills paired with a dedication to conducting business with other woman-owned businesses. With a focus on exemplary customer service, the award honors excellence in growth, financial stability, creativity, innovation, and management.

Since establishing CSCI in 2002, Michele has led the firm to twenty (20) years of continued growth and success on the foundation of a “people first” approach to doing business and delivering excellence to clients. “Great Lakes WBC is proud to be able to honor Corporate individuals that stand out in their support and dedication of women business owners as well as women business owners that are exceptional members of our network,” said Michelle Richards, the organization’s founding executive director, in the award announcement. A nonprofit champion for women and minority businesses, Great Lakes WBC provides small business educational support, certification for women-owned businesses, corporate contracting opportunities, and access to capital.

Michele has previously earned accolades as the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Indiana State Small Business Person of the Year, the National Association of Women Business Owners’ Woman Business Owner of the Year, a Top 50 Consulting Firm CEO as named by The Consulting Report, and an Indianapolis Business Journal Forty Under 40 Awardee.
