CSCI has been named a recipient of the 2018 Nunn-Perry Award in partnership with Perspecta through the United States Department of Defense (DoD) Mentor-Protégé Program
CSCI Consulting, Inc. (CSCI), together with our mentor Perspecta, is honored to announce that we have received the 2018 Nunn-Perry Award from the DoD and Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP) Mentor-Protégé Program.
The DoD Mentor-Protégé Program helps eligible small businesses expand their footprint in the Defense industry by partnering with larger companies. The Nunn-Perry Awards recognize Mentor-Protégé teams who have demonstrated exemplary efforts to provide products and services to the nation’s warfighters. It is the highest honor in the Program.
“[This] award recognizes your team’s superb performance,” said Shannon C. Jackson, Acting Director of OSBP. “Thank you for your support, dedication, and superior achievements which have contributed to this year’s success.”
As protégé to mentor Perspecta, sponsored by the Department of the Army and partnered with Morehouse College, CSCI focused on delivering technical innovations to the DoD industrial base, obtaining key business credentials, conducting a company rebranding campaign, and facilitating training opportunities for our associates. Perspecta provided subject matter experts to guide us through these initiatives, and Morehouse facilitated the opportunities to achieve our protégé goals.
“We are thrilled to receive this prestigious award as evidence of our collaborative efforts,” CSCI President and CEO Michele Meyer shared. “Our participation in the Mentor-Protégé program in partnership with Perspecta and Morehouse has enabled us to implement critical infrastructure and business processes within the company. This has allowed us to market our capabilities more effectively and ensure that we maintain the highest standard of quality service to both existing and new clients.”
